Black Iris is an elevated womenswear collection, founded in 2019. Black Iris draws from the beauty of the traditional to create pieces for modern women. The collection reimagines iconic, classic silhouettes and prints to create the next generation of timeless dressing. The brand conveys a nostalgia for a time of better quality and fewer things, with pieces that are intended to be collected, worn over and over again, and passed down to the next generation. Black Iris is for the woman manifesting her own destiny, making a mark, and carving her own unique path as she transitions throughout roles in day to day life with ease and grace.
Our Story
Black Iris is founded by women, for women. Founders Aly Gradone, Candice Miller, Chloe Rosenberg, and Rachel Wexler came together with a shared desire to create high quality, special, and versatile pieces that transition easily throughout a woman's multi-faceted life. Each founder brings a unique background, and perspective, styling and wearing the collection to reflect their unique aesthetic - whether edgy, romantic, classic, or conservative. Regardless of one's individual style, the Black Iris lady looks distinctive, sophisticated, and alluring, whatever their day may bring.
